BYOD and enrolled handsets

Many BFSI users open the Client app on a personal phone. AppDefender.dev binds that install — it does not manage the rest of the phone.

BindDefender and MFADefender keep the session on the enrolled handset and SIM even when the phone is personally owned. A sideloaded twin or SIM swap fails the score.

The Launch Security Gate still runs. Root, jailbreak, emulator, and overlay are not waived because the device is BYOD. Policy stays per Sandbox and Production.

Super Admin can still block that one device. Colleagues on other handsets are unaffected.
